Oh man TDYs are so awesome

Well at least that one was. I thought everybody there was going to be DoD; boy, was I wrong. I heard there were over 65,000 people registered (which I don't believe, I think it was maybe more like 6500). The banks had some goodies there that you could take. I got a Citibank bag since of course, they are the bank I was there for. But JP Morgan was giving out these crazy awesome bags that were way better than all the others!! I rushed back over to that side of the conference to grab one but they were already gone...

Going to that conference made me feel like I had a regular job. I woke up around 6 in the morning, made myself some coffee, went to "work" by about 7:30 and then hung out there until around 5. Then I would pick some dinner up on the way home, unwind a bit, work out, then go to sleep. It was pretty awesome. When I went back to work the week after, everyone commented on how cheerful and well-rested I looked. By Thursday everyone was asking if I was okay because I looked so tired and worn-out, haha. Anyway... it was nice to be dressed in cute office clothes instead of a uniform for a change. The last day was kind of stressful though, since I had to speak at a panel that I originally thought I didn't have to participate in, then I had to navigate my way through downtown Atlanta back to the airport with a broken GPS. I don't even know HOW I managed to find my way to the airport, but when I did, I was so relieved that I didn't bother trying to hunt for a gas station to replace the fuel in the rental car. On top of all that, I ended up leaving my GPS in the car... oh well, that piece of crap was broken anyway.

Now I'm back at my super stressful yet dreary job. I'm actually pretty excited to leave in December. I have a month of training before that though. NEVER FEAR, I shall be planning my wedding from abroad! Hope all of you guys are doing great.
