Wedding Plans

Val and I will be hitting the wedding planning full-force this weekend, but thankfully we already have a couple of things taken care of. We found a photographer and got a pretty good deal, which I am so grateful for since most of the photographers I looked at were either totally awesome and too pricey, or super cheap and really crappy. Now that it's out of the way it's a huge load off my shoulders. We also have our wedding cake taken care of, since Priscilla's mom offered to do it (with a discount as well!) although we still need to work out all the details such as size, design, etc... There are so many little details that are involved with planning a wedding; at times it gets a little overwhelming. And we still have to take care of the big stuff--location, food, officiator...!

We are opting for handmade invitations, or at least something we designed ourselves. Although the wedding isn't for over a year, I just know I'm going to procrastinate on them!

Anyway, I heard a rumor that our office was going back to 12-hour shifts again (ugh) so I guess I won't have a lot of time to make a bunch of plans. Hopefully it doesn't last long. I think I still need to post a bunch of pictures from my trip a while back as well!
