Explosions In The Sky and evolving musical taste

Okay, so I'm not going to pretend that I know how to write a music review. But if you are a fan of instrumental post-rock stuff then I highly recommend the band Explosions In The Sky. They've been around for quite a while but I think all their albums are pretty good. It's very emotionally-charged, yet calming.

Yesterday I was organizing my MP3s (yet again) and discovered that the Metal folder far surpasses all the others in size! The other folders I have are Classical/Instrumental, Videogame Music (haha, shuddup), Movies/Tv/Musicals, and Other (which is pretty much everything else). The only one that even comes close is the Other folder. Man, I remember there was a time when the Videogame folder was bigger than all the others combined. Now the Metal one is three times the size of that. Anyway, I only bring it up, because while I am a pretty big metal fan, I don't really consider myself to be a hardcore metalhead. I still listen to most of the stuff I did years ago, but it's interesting to see what other things I've picked up along the way.
